New guy from Cypress. Talked with someone one here from tech awhile ago. My car and my buddy's C5 will be done and ready for some "testing" shortly. Well my car has been done but i made some changes since the car gave me a bunch of shit at TX2K15

whats up man. Yeah that sounds about right. specs are as follows:

370ci iron block
66/65's
custom cam
LS3 top end
FTI GLide/GV OD unit
3180 W/me in it
Holley Dominator ECU

I took the car to baytown once back when it was a T56 car. After 3 passes (My first time at a track) I got the car to run 10.9 @ 142mph on 14lbs (pump gas) around 660whp with a 1.997 '60 ft on 315/35/17 DR's. Nothing to brag about but it was fun. Since then the car now had a Glide, I went E85 and current boost is around 26lbs.. I expect things to be A LOT different this time around.

The Vette is a "bulit" LS6 W/stock crank and a novi 2000. He is still running the stock LS1 intake and MAF. Right now he is shooting for 600whp since he is still on the BONE STOCK 4L60E... LOL i don't expect that to last. He too is a track noob and will have the car back from D3 wednesday night.

Wow! Sick build! I remember you posting about it on ls1tech a while back. Sounds like it may go 8s now. The vette should be a good race for me/a lot of people in our group. Most of us are in the 600-800 range.

It's never fast enough ;) The 315' are on my street tires and they don't do to well as you can imagine. I have a set of X275 PRO tires ive been begging to use but i need to figure out some clearance issues first.

Yeah that should be a fun run for sure. I know hes looking forward to some organized testing. From the way you described your group it sounds right up our alley "married" "kids" limited time away from home etc. Im in the same boat.
