Seems like it's too early to even be calling it beta from what I've read. Anybody even successfully tuned a boosted car with HPT diy? Going to be a LOT of time and testing, but I bet you could do it. No scanning via hpt is ridiculous. Reminds me of the ls1edit days for lsx. Wasn't good.

There has been a couple. Not many. Most of them were M6, not A6. Which is where I'm seeing a lot missing in HPT. I don't want to buy a new transmission.

How nice of them to take your money for something not even finished! Do not care for that company at all. Would go with EFILive if i started over.

I've only tweaked mine through the trinity while I was on the dyno. You can tweak more on that than the sct. Have her putting down some good #s. I don't know how comfortable I'd feel using HPT without a dyno

I agree with that. If the software didn't seem so incomplete I'd be doing it on a dyno.

What did your car put down?

411/396. When I had the boss on it made 421/354 which equals crap to me. It's just not for me. I'd MUCH rather have the 40lbs of tq

I hear ya. I'm not quite sure what I will think of the lag on a turbo compared to the instant hit of the TVS. (Which is for sale btw....)

I've never even driven a boosted car...lol my last two were an LT1 and LS1 trans ams. Cam and heads and your winning! Lol
It should be that bad. I would think you wouldn't have to worry about spinning right away.
