New here, friends with username (Joe). I have a 93 T/A & a C6. I live in West Houston and work off shore in the GOM. So I am back and forth quite a bit between Houston and Louisiana. I try and make it to some of the meets when I am in town, last one I went to was at HP Motor Sports, noticed a couple turbo 5.0s there at that particular meet. May have been some of y'all.

What's going on man! I think I've met you a couple times. One at the quick 30 event TSS was putting on (when Joe blew his motor).

What's done to the c6? I know the T/A has a nice cam in it.

Thanks guys. Sam right? Had the GTO a while back? The Trans Am got redone last summer. Pulled the old heads & cam set up out and did a 398 stroker. Reused the Dart Pro-1s I had and had them ported further, sleeved the head bolt holes and bigger valves on the intake. Also replaced the entire valve train and added a vacuum pump. Still a hydraulic set up. So far it’s gotten drive ability tuning, waiting to head back to land, swap plugs on it and take it to the dyno. Finish the WOT tuning on motor.

The C6 07 Z51, base 1LT car. Got it in 2011. Couldn't drive a manual so Joe had to drive it home. Has a cam, blower, MGW shifter, DRM valved Bilsteins, typical Vette stuff. 4" pulley, Made around 620RWHP.

Yep, I sold the GTO a couple years ago when we moved and picked up the Mustang about 2 years ago.

You should come out with us on the next Tacos n Tires event.
